The European Business Association together with the Union of the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, The International Finance Corporation (IFC- member of The World Bank for development of the private sector) and Economic chamber of commerce on north –west Macedonia are inviting You to participate in the workshop for the international standard for life environment ISO 14001:2004 and promotion of the brochure
“System for managing with the environment - ISO 14001:2004”.

In Skopje this workshop will take place in hotel Alexandar Palace, in Thursday, 20.11.2008

Goal of the workshop

ISO 14001:2004 Is intended for identification and evaluation of the questions related with the aspects of environment. Every business subject is in some way influencing the life environment. It is considered that every business activity needs energy in order to be accomplished and so, all businesses create emissions of that energy in the environment. These days, in the modern-day working conditions exist many pressures over the business and their dedication and consideration on this subject, (Protection of the environment) which is placed as IMPERATIV. The development of the system for managing the life environment needs to have goal for accomplishing a business success. This can happen as result of lowering the potential risks from pollution, decreasing of the waste amount, better controls on inner processes and energy savings. According to this, a detail examination for protection of the life environment can make long - term benefits for the companies, and on that way will help to succeed on the Global and competitive market.

Who needs this workshop?

This workshop is mostly intended on General managers, also on the operative personal and the managers for quality in the enterprises in Macedonia. 

Work methods / lecturers

Expert for ISO 14001:2004 will present basic principles on ISO 14001:2004 and the benefits of his implementation.
