In order to better facilitate its work, in the beginning of 2005, EBA started to form committees comprising business people with various scope of activities. These Committees were formed in order to enable the EBA members a chance to identify and discuss common positions and resolutions in diverse domains of work.

Combining companies with similar activities and background, EBA committees produce a fruitful ground for dialogue and solution of the inflicted problems.

The EBA committees are the main lobbying body of the Association. Members and representatives tend to meet government official on regular bases in order to launch a dialogue with the Government and EU officials on emerging issues.

At the moment the European Business Association has formed four committees, which are all operating in Skopje:

• Banking & Finance

• Ecology

• Entrepreneurship and SME

• Industrial

• Legal

All these committees hold regular monthly meetings, where they discuss current issues and problems.

In the future EBA plans to expand its activity by giving possibilities for business from other branches to also unite in committees.
