The Management Board of the European Business Association is generally responsible for the Association's activities and strategy as well as supervision over the EBA executive staff. Generally, the Management Board of EBA meets once a month to discuss the current issues related to the activities of the Association, approve the finances and to accept new members.
The election of the EBA Management Board is regulated by the Charter of the European Business Association.
According to the Charter, the Managing Board is elected by the General Assembly and has a mandate of four years.
Every EBA member can be elected to the Board or to any other position in the Board. Members may also nominate one candidate to the Managing Board.
The Managing Board is comprised of eight members including the position of the President, 2 Vice-Presidents and Treasurer, which are also elected in the General Assembly.
